Minimalist Photography

I like this photo because it uses the shadows in the background to make it the focal point and it really stands out to me and I also really like how they positioned the orange to get the shadow at an angle. I'm compelled by this photo by not the shadow but by the way they used their thoughts into it and it really can bring out a new meaning behind the photograph.

I love this photo because it really shows the movement in the picture and it must have taken a lot of pictures to get the perfect position or it could have been one shot and go and it would've been just fine. The reason I am compelled by this photograph is that the body is the focal point and it brings out a lot with the white background which it doesn't really use the negative space in the background but it still is a good example of minimalism.

I chose this photo as an example of minimalism because it is just a simple photo with hands using string and a drawing of birds using the string as a line to sit on but it also brings out the movement in the photo to make it really creative. Not only are the birds in the photograph but it also brings out more of the emphasis from the hands to the birds that are flying away. I am compelled by this because it makes me think that the photographer is trying to understand what the viewer is thinking and to be honest I have no idea I am speechless. But it was a really good photograph but it could have a more vibrant background to go along with the photo.
